Colleen Rebecca Britt
is a proud Directing graduate from the Actors Studio Drama school. She recently did a panel discussion with the graduate studio on self producing their own work in New York City.
She is a New York City based director, actor, and teaching artist. Colleen just finished directing The Cripple of Inishmaan at the theater at St. Jeans for The Hewitt School, where she is the Drama Teacher.
This past summer Colleen had the pleasure of directing and producing two new plays in the 2016 New York International Fringe Festival, Svetlyachki by Alla Ilyasova and co-directed and adapted with Linda Linda van Kestern Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. These works were Produced in association with Infinite Variety Productions (www.infinitevarietynyc.org), where Colleen proudly serves as the Resident Director.
She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Florida before attending ASDS. She is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
